These days, weddings can feel like a performance - a day planned for Pinterest, full of poses and directions from photographers chasing the “perfect shot”.
But that’s not what we do.
We document weddings for couples who want to actually enjoy their day - not perform it. The ones who value genuine moments over perfect poses. Who cares less about everyone smiling at the camera, and more about the tears, laughter, and quiet in between moments that can’t be staged.
Our couples want to celebrate with their favorite people - and trust us to capture the real unposed, beautifully imperfect story of it all.
Sometimes couples ask us: But what do I have to do in front of the camera? And the answer is clear: “Enjoy your day and be yourself. We’ll take care of the rest.”

I’m Fernanda Ruiz
My greatest passion is documenting weddings for couples who want to fully enjoy their day — to be themselves and simply celebrate their love. I don’t stage or direct moments; I let you be with your favorite people and let the magic unfold naturally.
I love capturing it all — the weird, the fun, the emotional, the unexpected, and everything in between. Because weddings aren’t perfect, and your photos shouldn’t be either.
When you look back at your photos years from now, I want you to feel your wedding day — not just see how it looked. That’s why I focus on real moments, not staged ones.
I feel incredibly grateful to do what I love, and I truly appreciate you considering me to be part of your day.
We will be a good fit if…
You want to enjoy your wedding - not spend it worrying about photos. You are spending thousands of dollars into your celebration and the last thing you should do is miss the fun just to take a “perfect” photo that looks nice but feels empty. Our approach is simple: we let you be yourself, and we take care of the rest. Your only job? Enjoy your day!
You feel awkward in front of the camera. I know, I totally get it. It’s not natural to stare into the horizon holding hands for a photo. We get it. We won’t ask you to do that. The only time we will direct you is during family portraits, which usually take no more than 20 minutes.
You value friends and family over anything else. Your wedding is probably the only time you will have all your favorite people together in the same place - so we won’t take you away from that. Be with them. Laugh, hug, dance, cry… and we’ll capture it all - the real you. …

Our packages are different because:

You’ll receive a private digital gallery with all your photos in high-resolution JPG format, available for a full year. There’s no need to purchase digitals or pay anything extra — everything is included.
02.
You also get full printing rights. If you’d like to print wall art, albums, or individual prints on your own, you’re free to do so. Of course, we’re happy to handle printing for you as well — but there’s no obligation.
03.
Every image in your gallery is individually edited to reflect our signature documentary style — nothing is left unfinished.
04.
All collections include a handcrafted album. Depending on the collection you choose, your album will feature 20 spreads, and you’ll get to select your favorite photos to include.
05.
We also offer flexible payment plans, because we know weddings are a big investment. We never want budget to be the reason you can’t have your story documented the way it deserves. This is about you — and we’ll make it work!
06.
We don’t charge travel fees if your wedding is anywhere in Southern California.

I want to get to know you — who you are and what you envision for your wedding photos. You’re not just a client to me; I truly care about your experience and how I can serve you best.

About 2–3 weeks before your wedding, we’ll have a call to go over all the details of your day. This helps us prepare to document everything seamlessly and ensure things flow naturally.

On your wedding day, we’ll be there for the full time you’ve booked, giving our all to make your experience as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. We’re a hardworking team that anticipates needs, solves problems, and always respects your other vendors.

Every collection includes a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos with your favorite people. The gallery stays active for one year, and you can also order prints directly from it

Once your gallery is ready, we’ll schedule a Zoom call for a special reveal celebration. During the call, we’ll share a slideshow of 80–100 highlight photos from your wedding day — a chance to relive the moments, laughter, and emotions as they unfolded.
